Do You Have A Label Project We Can Help With?
GHS Labels
The Problem
Chemical manufacturers store and ship their product in drums. These drums can be made of painted metal or plastic. The substances stored in these drums must be readily identifiable by anyone who comes in contact with the drum. Overseas (also known as maritime) shipments must comply with BS 5609 (British Standard) and GHS (Globally Harmonized System) regulations. These regulations require the label to remain affixed and legible on the drum even if it is submerged in seawater for up to 3 months. These labels must be printed using pre-approved printers such as the Epson C831 inkjet printer.
The Solution
A start-to-finish solution utilizing fan-folded sheets fed into a compliant inkjet printer. This allows for print-on-demand flexibility of the end user to print any desired image and color.
